Taken at the end of May, My Dad and Stepmom were over from Canada for my birthday and we spent the weekend in York, this was one of my favorite shots of the weekend.



York Castle (Also known as Clifford's Tower) is the remains of a 13th century castle in the walled town of York.

This was taken at Monkey Forest at the end of May and the baby was just 2 weeks old at the time, hope the poor chap has grown into his ears :o)

At Monkey Forest the monkeys roam free in a large fenced in forest and you go in with them, but as this chap was young the mother was keeping well away from the path. These were taken with a Sigma 600mm F8 lens.

Black Country Museum

Spent the day at the Black Country Museum in Dudley, its a fantastic place for photography and lots to see. It was very busy today and it was hard to get shots without the crowds in them.

Another shot from the Roaches Sunset shoot from 2 weeks ago.

Its a really peaceful spot when the sun goes down. I could have sat there all evening. Doubt it will be my last visit there this year.....

Taken at the old barn at Roachend. The sun was just starting to drop below the horizon so I placed it behind the building as it was still very bright. I know its a bit bright but liked the affect.

Its a 3 exp HDR (-2 / 0 / +2) blended in Photomatix.

4x4 Page 11 (109 Photos)

Spent a few hours in the local quarry today, where on the last Sunday of each month they hold a 4x4 fun day.
I have not been for about 12 months and it was the first trip for the new camera but I only managed two hours there before the rain started and I called it a day, still managed to take a few hundred photos and upload 109 though...

I decided to change the Web banner, the old one dated from 2005 and both the GPS and the camera have been replaced....
