A few weeks ago (click for blogs) I announced that "just add water.." had won the watch photo of the year at bdwf.net and the prize was a $400 credit from Jomashop.com, I picked two watches and this week they arrived from the US. The watches were a Citizen Nighthawk Eco-Drive and a Luminox Navy SEAL dive watch. These are a few shots I took on the day they arrived.
Thanks to Jomashop for putting up the prize and getting the watches to me quickly :o)

This is a full size shot, I have only cropped off the sides to make it square, Taken 2 weeks ago with a 600mm F8 mirror lens + 2x Converter. Its still not pin point sharp and next time I will have to up the iso as I think its the movement of the moon that's blurring it.
This is the lower section of the waterfalls that I posted last week and is my 200th upload to Flickr. I only post my "best" shots to my Flickr account and I have set myself the goal of uploading at least one a week for the whole of 2009.
Back in September 2008, "Just add water..." won watch of the month in a forum compititon at BDWF.net You can see my original blog here .The same forum held a watch of 2008 compition and all the winners from each month were entered. The prize was a $400 credit for www.jomashop.com. Voting closed today and "Just add water..." came first with 25% of the vote. To say I am happy is a understatment...

Spent the day in the Hope and Castleton area of Derbyshire, with Tony, Phil & Michelle, and Jake. It did not get much above freezing all the way around the 9 mile circular walk but we still had a good laugh, mainly at my expense I may add! :o) These are a few of the "Snaps" taken during the day. Glad Phil and Michelle made the long drive up and that Tony could make time in his busy schedule. Lets do it again soon...
