I nearly missed this shot and could have done with a slightly faster shutter speed to freeze it more. He went through a lot faster than the others had been doing.

Mini 4x4 hits 20,000 views

My most viewed photo on flickr just hit 20,000 views. Its getting about 1000 views per month, mainly due to the upcoming release of the new mini 4x4.

Yep that's right a 4x4 mini. Looks like its on a Suzuki chassis but I may be wrong. Looked a lot of fun :o)

Oulton Park Track Day

Spent three hours at Oulton park race circuit photographing the Motorbike’s, Its only the 2nd time I have done track photography and they are a lot quicker than the 4x4’s I normally photograph when I am in motor sport mode. I enjoyed trying something different and don’t think they are too bad, although I did take a lot of shots to get these 108 photos.

Another shot from The Gauntlet Birds of Prey Centre. This one was hard to get right, it was in a small hut and the back was made up of twigs hanging down. The first few I tried the Eagle blended into the background too much so I boosted the flash to light him up a bit...

I must admit at first I past over this shot and was not going to post it to flickr, I did however post it on my facebook feed and it got a few comments so I thought I would have another look at it and the more I see it the more it grows on me :o)

The reason I initially ruled it out is the patten in the background, its caused by an out of focus tree branch in the snowy field behind the fence. Let me know what you think :o)

Another wintry shot, well it has been cold for months now... The sun was shining (I know that rare these days) so I placed it behind the tree to add some backlighting, You can make out the snow flakes in the sky (its not sensor dust, honest) as there was a snow shower going on at the same time, typical British weather :o)
