I had gone to Oulton Park to photograph the motorbike track day but it was raining most of the day, so I tried a few shots of the car drifting taking part on the inner track

Taken at the weekend (600mm f8 lens and x2 converter) .The moon was at its closest to the earth for 18 years only 221,566 miles away :) :) and its un cropped (apart from making it sq)

Taken on a really cold day in January (you can see the ice in the middle) at Pickmere Lake. Really like the reflections . I might need to revisit on a warmer day :)

Taken at the end of January on a lovely walk along the Caldon Canal from Froghall wharf. The Canal was built in 1773 and the unusual shaped bridge was used by miners to cross to the Ironstone mine. The name Cherry Eye apparently comes from the colour around the miners eye that used to cross it.
